Zach and Kelsey's Wedding →
I’m leaving for Nashville tomorrow and won’t be home until Sunday night! Kyle, Doug, Lynn, and I are going to Zach and Kelsey’s wedding. I’m so excited! :)
p.s. The beautiful song on their wedding page is Kelsey’s very own song…pretty sweet, huh?
Blueberry Pancakes
My dad and I made blueberry pancakes this morning, and the aroma was so strong in our kitchen that it’s making our eyes all burn and water. So we’re sitting around the table and it looks like we are all crying. So we are all saying “I’m just so happy to be with you all…” as we wipe our pancake tears away. haha I love my family.
hahahaha
I do love Daniel Choi...
Choi: Dude, so I miss you. Let's meet up before I head back to school. If you're not already in school.
Me: Damn it Choi, I start August 24th.
Choi: Really?
Me: Yes.
Choi: Meow. :(
So were you born with your birthmark?
– Diane Hutchings….Gosh, I do love her!

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Mr. Edward Magorium: When King Lear dies in Act V, do you know what Shakespeare has written? He's written "He dies." That's all, nothing more. No fanfare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words. The culmination of the most influential work of dramatic literature is "He dies." It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up with "He dies." And yet every time I read those two words, I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria. And I know it's only natural to be sad, but not because of the words "He dies." but because of the life we saw prior to the words.
Mr. Edward Magorium: I've lived all five of my acts, Mahoney, and I am not asking you to be happy that I must go. I'm only asking that you turn the page, continue reading... and let the next story begin. And if anyone asks what became of me, you relate my life in all its wonder, and end it with a simple and modest "He died."
Molly Mahoney: I love you.
Mr. Edward Magorium: I love you, too.
Mr. Edward Magorium: Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.
We must face tomorrow, whatever it may hold, with determination, joy and...

I’m typing this from MY laptop…it’s back and fixed! Hooray! :)
I’ve been swimming a ton this week at Orr Pool (thanks to my slightly hyperextended knee). But it has been so great to swim laps and kind of remind myself of when I was little. To me ten years ago, summer meant swimming at Orr Pool 1-6 everyday…and whenever I could get my dad to take me, from 7-9. A lot of memories there! I love that…
TAKE A TIME OUT. It’s not a real vacation if you’re reading email...

Leave it to me...
So I’m on my run tonight… I love night runs, and this was my first night run in over two weeks. So I was hauling it…feeling so great and making great timing! :) Then three miles in (mind you it was dark out) my foot hit this uneven sidewalk ledge really weird and so I tripped forward, but my right leg didn’t move anywhere because it was lodged into the sidewalk…so my...
Exercise Withdrawl
I’m about to go on my first run in over TWO WEEKS. Whoa baby, I think that’s the longest time I haven’t exercised probably since I was in 5th or 6th grade. I’m really excited!!! :)
I’m back in America, Ohio, Orrville…. I’ll explain eventually—just not really in the mood right now!
I’m having kind of a rough day today… and would really appreciate some prayer. Thanks y’all!
Beautiful culture
This afternoon Katie and I were sitting outside in the beautiful garden at La Pasada and we were reading and writing and one of our neighbors (she is this cute little Japanese girl who speaks great Spanish and fairly good English) invited Katie and I to join her and her friends for lunch. So we went and it was Patrick, this Canadian guy who lives at the B&B; Conchita (the Honduran owner of...
PRAY!
Please just pray, pray, pray, pray for Honduras today as Zelaya is trying to return… And pray that Katie and I are smart and God-centered in our decision to stay or come home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Super Nerd
I definitely over achieved in my Spanish homework tonight that I will never get a grade for… I really love learning and WANT AND NEED to learn this shtuff. (I like writing in “lyspe”—just in case you haven’t been able to tell!)
